Our Story
Meet Lisa Strand, founder of Hapa Hawaiian Salts, created in Hawai‘i, rooted in flavor, and made with aloha. Lisa began developing her blends in her own kitchen, inspired by the way food brings people together. As a former University of Hawai’i Rainbow Wahine volleyball player, and raising her hapa (half) Hawaiian children on the islands, she brings dedication, quality, and a respect for this special place and the nourishing abundance of its ‘aina (land) and kai (sea).
Each batch is crafted by hand using mineral-rich Hawaiian sea salt and locally sourced ingredients, then slowly roasted to draw out deep, layered flavor. The result is a versatile, everyday seasoning, from morning eggs to evening stir-fries, simple, real, and made to be shared.
